Who is Marie Theres Ott
Physical Therapist at BodyLab
I am Marie Theres Ott, a physiotherapist at BodyLab in Zürich Altstetten. After completing my bachelor's degree in Heidelberg, my journey took me from the surf beaches of France to Zürich. As a former track and field athlete and an active longboard surfer, I have a deep understanding of athletes' needs. Since 2021, I have been working with the German national surfing team at international competitions—a highlight of which was providing physiotherapy at the Olympic Games in Tahiti.
My Philosophy as a Therapist
In our physiotherapy practice, I combine manual techniques, fascial therapy, dry needling, and osteopathic methods with functional training. Each treatment is tailored individually and based on your personal needs. Whether it's sports physiotherapy or general discomfort – I'm excited to guide you through your therapy journey. With my extensive experience in various fields, I offer a comprehensive range of treatments.

As a certified Physiotherapist BSc, I completed my extensive training at the renowned SRH University Heidelberg in Germany from 2016 to 2020. This academic foundation forms the cornerstone of my work at our Physiotherapy practice in Zurich Altstetten. My studies equipped me with comprehensive knowledge in all areas of modern physiotherapy, which I apply daily in treating our patients.
