BodyLab LLC, Albulastrasse 50, 8048 Zurich (hereinafter referred to as "BodyLab") utilizes a video surveillance system ("System") in the publicly accessible practice areas. No recordings are made in the individual treatment rooms, ensuring no compromising footage of our patients is captured.
The personal data collected by our system's recordings within our premises are processed to ensure the protection of individuals and property from potential attacks, theft, robbery, damage, vandalism, and similar crimes. Additionally, they serve the purpose of fire safety, workplace security, and pursuing our legitimate interests by gathering evidence and meeting further organizational needs.
The collected recordings will not be used to monitor activities carried out by employees, except for the detection of illegal or fraudulent conduct that leads to criminal prosecution. Generally, we've designed the system to minimize data collection and processing as much as possible, thereby reducing potential risks for the individuals involved. For instance, we do not collect any statistical data from visitors through the system, not even in an anonymized form.
The recordings are made both during regular business hours and after closing, as well as when the premises are empty, for the previously mentioned reasons.
The data is exclusively viewed and processed electronically if necessary by the management of BodyLab.
For video surveillance, we use the software provided by Ubiquiti Networks. The data is securely stored on BodyLab's internal servers, accessible only via VPN or app with two-factor authentication.
The video surveillance recordings are kept for a maximum of 72 hours and then deleted, unless they are needed for specific requirements related to investigative activities or other legally prescribed or permissible activities, such as police or judicial work. Personal data is not disclosed or shared with third parties, except for the aforementioned necessities.
Signs with brief information at the entrance and in the reception area inform about the monitoring of our practice rooms in a legally valid way.
The personal rights for affected individuals as provided in the data protection laws apply. Our Privacy Policy informs you about your rights in this regard.
