Who is Milena Hug
Osteopath at BodyLab
Growing up in the Upper Engadine, I quickly developed a passion for movement and the fascinating adaptability of the human body. I wanted to pursue a career that would challenge me both physically and mentally.
What I particularly appreciate about osteopathy is the immediate feedback I receive from the person I am treating, allowing me to continuously develop myself and my treatment strategy. I feel fortunate to be able to meet, treat, and accompany a diverse range of people on their journey.
My Treatment Philosophy
At the start of every osteopathic consultation, I strive to understand my client's issues and uncover the reasons behind their current symptoms. This is achieved through dialogue and a precise physical examination. Together, we then establish treatment goals and discuss suitable solutions.
Often, I can quickly alleviate pain with manual techniques and help you regain mobility when facing movement restrictions. Additionally, it's important to me that you can develop long-term strategies to better manage your issues.
Tips for small adjustments in everyday life can often help prevent future discomfort. If an interdisciplinary solution is necessary, I’ll gladly advise you on in-house and external options for collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

Education & Studies
I completed my osteopathy training at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Western Switzerland (HES-SO) in Fribourg. After undertaking the Health Module (2018–2019), I earned my Bachelor of Science (2019–2022) and subsequently, my Master of Science in Osteopathy (2022–2024). Throughout this academic journey, I not only gained essential theoretical knowledge but also had the chance to acquire valuable hands-on experience during various internships. With my extensive training in manual therapy and the integration of new scientific insights, I practice a modern form of osteopathy. Alongside my ever-growing practical expertise, I consider continuous education vital to ensuring high-quality treatment.
