Classic Massage

As a recognized alternative medical field in Switzerland, treatment costs are partially covered and reimbursed by most health insurance companies through supplementary insurance for alternative and complementary medicine.

However, different insurance models and guidelines vary by insurance provider.

All our physiotherapists are registered with the Empirical Medicine Register (EMR) for classic massage (EMR number 102).

We recommend our clients clarify cost coverage with their insurance beforehand.

The responsibility for clarifying cost coverage with the respective supplementary insurance lies with the patient.

Of course, we are also fully dedicated to supporting you as a self-paying client with our complete expertise.

Physiotherapy

(with medical referral)

With a medical prescription (Physiotherapy Referral), our physiotherapy services are covered by basic health insurance from all Swiss health insurers (in case of illness) or accident insurances (in case of accident).

We are also fully dedicated to supporting you as a self-payer (if you don't have a medical referral). In this case, our self-payer rates apply (see below).

Missed appointments or those not canceled in due time will be billed to the patient based on actual costs incurred, the individually applicable tax point, and the reserved session duration. These costs are usually not covered by health insurance providers and are owed personally by the patient, payable directly.

Additional Individual Costs

If additional services are requested that go beyond our standard administrative or organizational activities—or normal correspondence with treating medical professionals—we may bill the resulting costs based on the actual effort required (equivalent, for example, to the standard health insurance tax point 999 for Osteopathy / Massage).

This applies in particular to the following services:

• Resending invoices, reminders, or reports,

• Additional medical-treatment-related inquiries with the treating therapist,

• Other administrative or organizational efforts

These additional expenses are often not covered by health insurance, so you as the patient may need to cover them yourself. 

The responsibility for clarifying cost coverage with your health insurer or supplementary insurance provider lies with you.
